Fire hydrants are clearly marked as no parking spaces for very clear and logical reasons. These areas need to be kept clear to allow emergency vehicles access to the area in case they need to use the hydrant. One driver, however, decided that the spot in front of the hydrant was the perfect place to park, until there happened to be a fire nearby. The firefighters, rather irritated at this point we imagine, chose to rather break through the car than try find a way around it.
